Level 33 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Corentin Sala
Corentin Sala

Nicolas Tytgat limped in the small blind and then called the 300,000 raise from Corentin Sala on his direct left.

Tygat then check-raised to 650,000 on the {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop after Sala bet 225,000. Sala obliged with a call.

On the {j-Diamonds} turn, Tytgat checked and Sala bet once more, sliding in 600,000 into the pot. This time, Tytgat only called.

The {4-Clubs} river completed the board and Tytgat checked again. Sala then shipped in his 2,600,000 stack. Tytgat went deep into the tank and eventually found the call.

Sala had {k-}{q-} for king high, while Tytgat had made the hero call with just a pair of sixes, as he had {7-}{6-}. Sala was stunned at the call and left the room just as the dinner break got underway.
