Meunier Takes From Gouttenoire
Level 2
: Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Clément Meunier defended from the big blind after Cyril Gouttenoire in the cutoff opened to 900.
Gouttenoire bet 700 on the K♦6♥2♦ flop, then fired a second barrel of 2,700 on the 3♥ turn. Meunier check-called both times.
The 6♠ river landed on felt and Meunier led out for 9,000. Gouttenoire went into the tank, but eventually folded. "A king?," Meunier asked. "Better, " answered Gouttenoire.
