Late registration for Day 1b closed at the end of Level 13. A total of 509 entries were recorded in this second flight of the 2024 WPO Bratislava Main Event. It is more than twice Day 1a's number of entrants (212), but a bit more than last year's Day 1b (483).

The day will end when 83 players remain, and they will all be in the money.

The dealer fanned a flop of 32A and Guetat continued for 5,000. Da Rocha check-called.

Guetat fired a second barrel of 22,500 on the J turn. However Da Rocha decided to check-raised all-in. Guetat quickly called for roughly 60,000.

Schoonbroodt and Monard Clash

What was reported to PokerNews as a four-bet pot preflop, the action was caught with around 75,000 in the middle and two players looking at a board of 3AQ.

Marcel Schoonbroodt, in the hijack, bet out 22,000. Alexandre Monard, on the button, responded by clicking it back to 44,000. Schoonbroodt went into the tank before folding KK face up. Monard raked in the pot as he showed AK, having flopped top pair to crack Schoonbroodt's kings.

Romain Vivalda raised to 6,500 from the cutoff, Boris Progner three-bet to 15,00 from the button and Vivalda called.

The JQ5 flop saw Vivalda check-call a bet of 8,000 from Progner.

The 3 turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Progner sized up to 20,000.

The 6 river slowly checked to a showdown. Vivalda rolled over KQ for top pair; enough to send Progner's cards into the muck.

Eduard Bagrov raised to 6,000 from under the gun. He was called by Joao Vieira on the button, but Damien Hupe in the small blind squeezed to 22,500.

Gaelle Baumann in the big blind seemed to hesitate, but she folded. However Bagrov decided to go all-in for approximately 75,000. Vieira folded but Hupe called.
