Varvat with Top Pair
Level 2
: Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
After an open by the player in the cutoff, Jules Varvat defended from the big blind.
On a flop of 7♠Q♣5♥, Varvat check-called for 800, and check-called again after the cutoff fired a second barrel of 1,200.
The 10♣ completed the board but brought no more action, so Varvat flipped over Q♦J♦ for top pair. His opponent sent his cards into the muck.
