Jerome Gauclain was in the small blind, and he four-bet jammed to 24,000. Nguyen got out of the way, but Blanquet made the quick call.

However the 9♥ hit on the turn to propel Gauclain into the lead with a set, much to Blanquet's dismay, and he could not reverse the position on the 7♠ river.
