Mathieu Annequin opened to 7,000 under the gun, and was faced with a three-bet to 23,000 from Selim Zegour on the button.

Action folded back to Annequin, who thought for a moment before four-bet jamming for 143,000. Zegour asked for a count, gave the spot a bit of thought, and made the call with the covering stack.

It was a fair fight, but not for long as Zegour flopped top set on the J♠7♥3♥ flop.

With around 6,000 in the middle on a board of 6♠5♥4♣7♥, Bruno Ancel led out with a bet of 3,800 from the big blind, and was met with a raise to 13,800 from Valentin Joubert in the cutoff. After quite a bit of deliberation, Ancel called.

The 4♥ river paired the board, and also brought in potential flushes.

Ancel checked to his opponent, who took some time to think before firing out a bet of 50,000, covering Ancel's remaining stack of around 30,000.

Ancel put his hands to his head and sighed. After around two minutes he suddenly said "Allez" and flicked in a calling chip.

Joubert tabled Q♠8♣ for the eight-high straight, and that was good against Ancel's A♠7♠.

Around 11,000 was in the middle on a completed board of 8♦7♥6♦Q♠5♥, in a hand between Alexis Machabert on the button and Rudy Noel in the small blind.

There was 22,000 in front of Machabert, while Noel had the all-in triangle in front of him, having put the entirety of his remaining 46,000 stack into the middle.

Machabert went into the tank, and remained deep in thought for around three to four minutes.

He ultimately made the call, only to see that his 9♠9♥ for the rivered one-card nine-high straight was beaten by Noel's 10♦9♦ for the flopped ten-high straight, in a brutal early cooler.
