A pot of at least 40,000 had developed by the river on a board of J♥4♠2♠8♥9♥, in a hand between Florent Labouret and Matthieu Vizioz.
The river was checked through, and Vizioz was surprised to take the pot with K♠7♠ for king-high, having missed his flopped flush draw.
Around 20,000 was in the middle on a flop of 10♠6♥4♦, in a hand between Simon Chevreux in the cutoff, Andre Jeambrun on the button and Baptiste Lagier in the small blind.
Action was checked to Chevreux, who fired out a bet of 6,500. Jeambrun called, before Lagier produced a check-raise to 21,000. Only Chevereux called.
The J♠ hit on the turn, and much to Jeambrun's disgust, Lagier quickly check-folded versus a bet of 11,000 from Chevereux.
Lucas Beisel opened to 5,000 from the button, and was met with a three-bet to 14,000 from Eric Ravier in the big blind.
Beisel called to see a flop of Q♣7♠5♥, where Ravier continued with a bet of 12,000. After some thought, Beisel called.
On the 10♠ turn, Ravier checked to his opponent, and Beisel fired out a bet of 16,000. Ravier promptly check-jammed for around 70,000, leading to a swift fold from Beisel.
Ravier tabled 9♣6♣ for nine-high, and Beisel looked shocked, tapping the table as his opponent raked in the pot.

With around 6,000 in the middle on a board of 6♠5♥4♣7♥, Bruno Ancel led out with a bet of 3,800 from the big blind, and was met with a raise to 13,800 from Valentin Joubert in the cutoff. After quite a bit of deliberation, Ancel called.
The 4♥ river paired the board, and also brought in potential flushes.
Ancel checked to his opponent, who took some time to think before firing out a bet of 50,000, covering Ancel's remaining stack of around 30,000.
Ancel put his hands to his head and sighed. After around two minutes he suddenly said "Allez" and flicked in a calling chip.
Joubert tabled Q♠8♣ for the eight-high straight, and that was good against Ancel's A♠7♠.
There was 18,400 sitting in front of Stephane Perrin in the big blind, and 37,000 in front of Alexis Tremblay in the small blind.
After some deliberation, Perrin moved all in with the covering stack, and Tremblay called off for the remainder of his 120,000 total stack.
Alexis Tremblay: A♠A♣
Stephane Perrin: K♣Q♦
Tremblay had the goods, and there was no escape for Perrin on the 4♥4♦2♥Q♠7♣ runout.

Jean Salaun opened to 2,800 under the gun, and received a call from Alexandre Mebs on the button.
On the A♣2♣2♦ flop, Salaun continued with a bet of 2,500, which failed to shake off Mebs.
The K♥ hit on the turn, and Salaun check-folded versus a bet of 5,500 from Mebs.
Son Minh Nguyen opened to 2,800 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 9,500 from Maxime Blanquet in the cutoff.
Jerome Gauclain was in the small blind, and he four-bet jammed to 24,000. Nguyen got out of the way, but Blanquet made the quick call.
Jerome Gauclain: 9♣9♦
Maxime Blanquet: K♠K♦
Gauclain was in trouble versus Blanquet's cowboys, and the J♣J♦8♠ flop was no help.
However the 9♥ hit on the turn to propel Gauclain into the lead with a set, much to Blanquet's dismay, and he could not reverse the position on the 7♠ river.
