Vormese Claims Pot With River Bet
Level 3
: 200/400, 400 ante
Romain Destouches open-raised from under the gun and picked up two calls, including Alban Vormese in the big blind.
The flop came 4♠7♣6♦ and Vormese checked. Destouches bet 1,000 and both of his opponents called to see the J♥ turn. Vormese checked again and Destouches made it 2,500 to go, which only Vormese called.
The river came the 3♦ and Vormese led out for 8,500. Destouches had seen enough and opted to fold, giving Vormese the pot.
