Simcelescu Doubles With Unlikely Runout

Level 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Yann Travasa raised to 12,000 from under the gun and Dan Simcelescu moved all in for 111,000. Travasa got the count and then made the call with the covering stack. Players flipped their cards and Simcelescu was at risk.

Dan Simcelescu: 88 All in
Yann Travasa: 99

Simcelescu used his stand up equity, grabbing his jacket as the flop came 9J7 to give Travasa a set. Simcelescu did pick up a straight draw and gained outs for the flush on the Q turn. The river came the 4 and Simcelescu completed his flush.

"Heart! Yes! Wow!", said Simcelescu. "I was shouting for the ten, but then I saw the heart". His opponent didn't really respond, but handed over the chips to double up Simcelescu's stack.
