Another Record-Breaking Flight; 205 Players To Make It To the Money

Once again today, records were shattered with an impressive 1,232 entries on Day 1c, bringing the overall total to over 3,300 entries, including early entries from Day 1d Turbo. As announced earlier, this already sets a new world record for the largest 6-max tournament ever organized.

From Day 1c alone, 205 players will make it to the money and Day 2. For those who haven’t qualified yet, late registration for Day 1d closes in less than 20 minutes.

The hand was on the flop on a board of 8♠5♥9♦ and players checked to Gaspard Devianne, who made it 15,000 to go from under the gun. The player in the small blind folded and Anthony Rodriguez called.

On the K♠ turn, Rodriguez checked and Devianne sized up a bet of 32,500. Rodriguez responded with a check-raise all in for 128,500 and Devianne snap-called with confidence and showed K♥K♦ for a set of kings.

Devianne's confidence was short lived, however, as Rodriguez flipped over 7♥6♦ for a straight, leaving Devianne drawing to a full house.

The river came the J♣ and Rodriguez held to win the pot and score a huge double up.

Action was on the flop on a board of 7♣8♣6♥ and Aaron Elosua led out with a bet of 17,000, which Thomas De Leiris called in the next seat across.

On the A♦ turn, Elosua went bigger with a bet of 47,000 and De Leiris called again.

The river was dealt the 4♦ and Elosua pushed all in for 80,500. De Leiris was hesitant, but he made an almost resigned call and flipped over A♥Q♣ for a pair of aces.

Elosua, however, had A♣K♣ for a pair of aces with king kicker, which won him the pot and a decent double up.

Lozano continued for 8,000 on the 3♣J♠Q♠ flop. Beghiti check-called, then both players checked the 5♠ turn.

The 4♠ river brought a fourth spade on the board that Belghiti checked. Lozano checked back but lost to Belghiti's Q♦2♦.
