Dossío Continues to Build Ahead of the Bubble
Level 17
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
A player in middle position opened to 16,000 and received two calls from the button and Álvaro Dossío in the big blind.
The flop came 10♦5♦6♥ and the initial raiser continued for 15,000. The button called, and when the action reached Dossío, he check raised to 65,000.
After a brief pause, the original raiser moved all-in. The button folded, but Dossío snap called.
Álvaro Dossío: 5♣5♥
Middle Position: Q♥Q♦
Dossío was in great shape with bottom set against pocket queens. The K♥ turn kept him ahead, and the 7♥ river sealed the pot in his favor.
He dragged a pot worth close to 515,000 chips as he continues to amass a stack capable of applying serious pressure near the bubble.
