Guillem Nuez
Guillem Nuez

Action folded to Guillem Nuez on the button, who opened to 6,000. Alexander zur Linden responded with a small three-bet from the small blind, which Nuez called.

The flop came 68Q and zur Linden fired the continuation bet. After a brief pause, Nuez moved all-in. Zur Linden quickly called.

Alexander zur Linden: AA All in
Guillem Nuez: 88

Zur Linden needed an ace to survive, but neither the 3 turn nor the 2 river provided it. Nuez's flopped set held, eliminating the German and pushing Nuez close to the 300,000 chip mark.

Pablo López

Day 2 of the €550 CNP Winamax Main Event has arrived. Following a massive turnout yesterday, with as many as 300 players passing through the tables at Casino Admiral Sevilla, the season opener in the Andalusian capital is on pace to surpass last year's figures.

The Main Event already counts 243 players confirmed for Day 2, which gets underway at 5 p.m. local time. That number will increase once the turbo Day 1e concludes, currently in progress, along with any late registrations during the first two levels of Day 2.

Leading the field is Pablo López with a commanding stack of 524,000 chips, good for 262 big blinds and plenty of room to maneuver. Close behind is Ramón Fernández (513,000), who also advanced from Day 1b, while Joost van Waasdijk rounds out the top three with 426,000 chips.

Winamax WIPs Eduardo Riego (217,000), César Alonso (139,000), Ricardo Braga "Ricardinho" (87,000), Alberto Montalvo (27,000), and Miguel Illescas (21,000) will add star power to the day's action. It is also possible that some of the WIPs who failed to advance in earlier flights, such as MMA fighter Ander Sánchez, content creator Spursito, or rapper Al Safir, could jump straight into Day 2 through late registration.

As mentioned earlier, play will resume today at 5 p.m. local time, with players set to complete two levels before heading on a scheduled break. Once they return and registration officially closes, the final numbers for this €550 CNP Winamax Main Event will be confirmed.
