With a total of 1,149 entries recorded after the first two flights of the €500 Winamax Poker Open Aix-les-Bains at Casino Grand Cercle, this year's Main Event is on its way to surpass last year's 2,566 entries.
Just like Day 1a, Day 1b was bigger than last year's Day 1b, with 763 entries recorded. Only 127 players, however, qualified for Day 2, led by none other than Adrian Mateos (906,000), who is the only Winamax Team Pro to have reached the money so far. Antoine Crepeau, who was seated to his right, bagged the second-biggest stack with 894,000, while Azzedine Khairani was third in chips by the end of the night with 842,000.

Now, where will the numbers stop? The answer will be known from noon local time with the beginning of Day 1c, featuring 30-minute levels, 13 levels of late registration, and an end of the day in the money once 16.67% of the field remains. Day 1d Turbo will kick off a bit later, at 7 p.m., with 20-minute levels.
