Finkel Wins Big with a Flush

While Antonin Teisseire was taking his seat upstairs and under the eyes of the 2018 WiPT champion Jérémy Routier, Stephane Finkel opened to 1,600 from middle position and was called by Jerome Sgorrano on the button and Kamel Atoui in the small blind.
"Now that the big blind is gone, we split?" Sgorrano joked while the dealer was fanning a flop of K♦8♣Q♦. Both Atoui and Finkel checked to Sgorrano who bet 3,000. Finkel called.
Sgorrano fired a second barrel fo 5,600 on the 6♦ turn but Finkel check-raised to 14,000. Sgorrano went into the tank and called with a suspicious look.
Finkel led out for 26,500 on the J♠ river. Sgorrrano called but ran into Finkel's flush with 8♦7♦.
