Back on the circuit after a few years away from the tables, Nicolas “Cap Haddock” Burtin is doing more than well, climbing to 900,000 in chips.
Shortly after returning from a smoking-break, he picked up action in the big blind when a player opened to 16,000 from middle position.
With his big stack, Burtin moved all-in. “Do you have kings?” he asked. His opponent replied that he would have snap-called with kings and ultimately folded.
At this stage, only Thibaut Garcia sits above him on the chip counts with 960,000.
