Fuhs Takes Out Chance with Some Luck

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Danny Fuhs raised from early position to 16,000 before Bobby Chance reraised all in from the cutoff seat for 67,000. Play folded back to Fuhs, and he called with the {A-Spades}{7-Spades}. Chance had the best of it with the dominating {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

The {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop gave Fuhs the lead with a pair of sevens. The turn was the {3-Hearts}, and the river was the {8-Diamonds}. Fuhs' pair of sevens proved to be the best hand when it was all said and done, and Chance was eliminated.

Wang Rivers a Set of Deuces

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

From early position, Michael Wang raised to 18,000. Chris Tryba called from the small blind, and the flop came down {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Both players checked, and the turn was the {7-Diamonds}. Again, both checked, and the {2-Spades} landed on the river. After Tryba checked, Wang bet 36,000. Tryba made the call.

Wang turned up a rivered set of deuces with the {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, and Tryba mucked his hand.

Wang with the Better One-Pair Hand

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After Michael Wang raised preflop from middle position and Tommy Vedes called out of the big blind, the dealer spread the {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Vedes checked, Wang bet 20,000, and Vedes called.

The {10-Spades} came on the turn, and Vedes checked again. Wang upped his wager to 55,000, and Vedes made the call to leave himself with 152,000 behind.

The river was the {9-Diamonds}, and both players checked.

"One pair," announced Vedes before he turned up the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Wang responded by tabling the {J-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a better pair on the river, and he won the pot.
