Maxx Coleman On A Little Run

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Maxx Coleman had been hovering around 500,000 for a lot of the day. During the last level he doubled up and was able to play more aggressively. He has since worked his stack up to about 1.5 million and seems to be in a zone when it comes to picking spots.

Massaad Picks Off Hardcastle for a Chunk

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Fadi Massaad
Fadi Massaad

From under the gun, Jeff Gibraltar raised to 65,000. He was called by Fadi Massaad in the small blind and Lonny Hardcastle in the big blind before the dealer dealt the {Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. Massaad and Hardcastle checked, Gibraltar bet 85,000, and both of his opponents called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}, and the trio of players checked to see the {8-Spades} land on the river. Massaad checked, Hardcastle bet 200,000, and Gibraltar went deep into the tank. Eventually, Gibraltar folded, but he didn't look pleased to do so. Massaad, on the other hand, made the call.

Hardcastle showed the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}, but it was Massaad's {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} that won the pot. Gibraltar said that he folded two jacks.

Coleman Doubles Up

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Patana Pradith raised to 93,000 preflop, and the action fell to Maxx Coleman. He shoved all in for 509,000. Christopher Staats shoved all in over the top of Coleman, and Pradith debated whether or not to call, but in the end decided to fold.

Staats had {q-}{q-} and Coleman had the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The board just kept getting better for Coleman when he flopped a flush draw, on {8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} turned a pair of aces, {a-Clubs}, and made two pair on the {7-Spades} river.

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Toby Floyd raised preflop to 60,000, and Fadi Massaad called before Lonny Hardcastle shoved all in from the button. Erik Christensen wasted no time when he called with {j-}{j-}, only to be disappointed when Hardcastle turned over {k-}{k-}. The others folded. The board didn't bring any help for Christensen, and he was eliminated in 18th place.

Montes Gets Some Value On the River

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

On the {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, Numit Agrawal check-called a bet of 70,000 from Jose Montes. The two then saw the {10-Clubs} land on the turn, and both players checked to see the {2-Clubs} land on the river. Agrawal checked, Montes bet 180,000, and Agrawal called.

Montes showed the {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}, and Agrawal mucked his hand.

Skinner Doubles Through Hardcastle

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

From under the gun, Joseph Skinner raised to 70,000. Play moved to Lonny Hardcastle in the hijack seat, and he reraised to 250,000. After action got back to Skinner, he thought for a few moments and then moved all in. Hardcastle wasted little time in making the call.

Skinner had the best of it with the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} against the {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for Hardcastle. Thanks to the {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} run out, Skinner doubled up to nearly 900,000 in chips. Hardcastle was left with right around 2 million.
