Montes Gets There Against Heiberg

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Just before the break, Jose Montes called a raise from the big blind after Jeff Heiberg opened to 30,000, and the two were heads up to the flop.

The flop came {10-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and Montes checked to Heiberg. Heiberg placed a bet of 75,000, and Montes called. The turn was the {8-Diamonds}, and Montes check-called again, this time for 150,000.

On the river, when the {5-Hearts} came, Montes lead out for 225,000. Heiberg looked a little bothered, but it didn't keep him thinking too long, and he called. Montes turned over the {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a flush and Heiberg threw his {a-}{k-} into the middle of the table in frustration.

Sevens for Mircetic

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

From early position, Ray Henson raised to 26,000. Nikola Mircetic called from the cutoff seat, and everyone else folded before the two saw the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop. Henson bet 25,000, and Mircetic called.

The turn was checked by both players after the {3-Hearts} was added to the board, and then the {2-Clubs} landed on fifth street. Henson bet 15,000, and Mircetic called.

Henson showed the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}, but he lost to Mircetic's {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

Dumanski Eliminated

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

From under the gun, Kevin Lam Nguyen raised to 35,000. Play then folded to Drew Dumanski in the small blind, and he reraised all in for 203,000. Nguyen called with the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}, and Dumanski had the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

Nguyen hit a set on the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop to give him a stranglehold on the hand, and then he won it following the {10-Hearts} turn card and {10-Spades} river card that completed the board.
