Judd Morris Eliminated in 20th Place ($12,862)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

During the flurry of bust outs, we missed most of the action on the hand. The board was {J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Ben Ector had {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} tabled in front of him with his stack being counted down. Judd Morris had {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} in front of him for a busted flush draw. Ector had him covered.

Two Doubles

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Layne Flack
Layne Flack

Kevin Eyster opened to 65,000 under the gun and tank-called the shove of Layne Flack, who had 429,000 in the cutoff.

Eyster: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Flack: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The community came {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, no threat to Flack's cowboys.

Shortly thereafter, at the same table, Jeff Duvall jammed for 516,000 over an under-the-gun open from Brian Reinert, who called.

Reinert: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Duvall: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Again, the big pair held unimproved as {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades} hit the felt.

Gamble Bluffs Eyster in Huge Pot

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Nathan Gamble
Nathan Gamble

Both Nathan Gamble and Kevin Eyster, occupying the cutoff and button respectively, checked a board of {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and a {4-Hearts} hit. Gamble tanked awhile and checked. Eyster fired 175,000. Gamble moved all in. It was around 1 million, roughly the same as Eyster's stack. That sent the top pro deep into the tank, while Gamble stared straight ahead, occasionally blinking. Finally, he removed his glasses and rubbed his eyes.

"Man, your neck's about to explode, face turning red," Eyster said with a smile. "I don't know what to believe, Jesus."

After a couple of minutes more of thought, he said he was laying down.

"I'm gonna let you have it," Eyster said. "I'll show you what I'm folding if you show me your hand. I'd like to see a bluff."

Eyster showed {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Gamble flicked {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} into the middle.

"I didn't know if you had it in you," Eyster said. "But my range looks so thin besides a flush."

He bumped fists with Gamble.

"I like it...I like it."

Andy Philachack Eliminated in 19th Place (14,942)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

Andy Philachack had been trending downwards over the last few levels, but made his final stand with an open-shove from under the gun. Gordon Vayo called on the button, the blinds released and the cards were tabled.

Vayo: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Philachack: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Philachack never improved and fell short of the final two tables.

The clock was paused for a two-table redraw.

David Hudson Eliminated in 18th Place ($14,942)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

Gordon Vayo opened the hijack to 80,000 and David Hudson made it 553,000 all in from the big blind. Vayo thought briefly and called.

Vayo: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Hudson: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The flop was {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}, giving Vayo chopping outs, but the November Niner took a big lead for the whole pot on the {j-Diamonds} turn. Hudson could only shake his head at Vayo's heater, and the {10-Spades} river sealed his exit.

Brian Reinert Eliminated in 17th Place ($14,942), Kevin Eyster Eliminated in 16th Place ($17,555)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

After Kevin Eyster opened the action, Brian Reinert and Nathan Gamble moved all in. Eyster followed, moving all in with pocket queens.

Gamble: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Eyster: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Reinert: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The ace on the flop gave Gamble the advantage. The other two players couldn't catch up and Eyster received the higher payout as he had a larger stack at the start of the hand.

Todd Weers Eliminated in 15th Place ($17,555)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

Todd Weers opened for a raise to 110,000 and Layne Flack made it 340,000 on the button. Action folded back to Weers, and he immediately pushed all in. Flack called just as fast and Weers was at risk for about 900,000.

Weers: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Flack: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The {8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} was safe for Weers but a {5-Hearts} turn left him fading hearts as well as the overcards. An {a-Hearts} river gave Flack a winning flush.

Gary Knowles Eliminated in 14th Place ($17,555)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

Gary Knowles opened for 137,000 in early position, Long Duc Nguyen called on the button and Ben Ector called in the big blind. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Ector checked, Knowles moved all in and Nguyen mucked. Ector called with the {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} for the flopped straight and Knowles tabled the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The board blanked with the {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Knowles was eliminated.

The rest of the field went on a 15-minute break.
