Day 2 Started
After three starting flights, it's time for Day 2 of the WinStar River Poker Series $2 Million Guarantee Main Event. Maxx Coleman will lead the way with 835,500 atop a field of 113 returning players.
The remaining field is packed with notables and former champs. Jim Carroll (275,000) and Aaron Massey (76,500) join Coleman as players who've won this event before. Grant Hinkle (250,500) chopped this event five ways last year and will be looking for back-to-back final tables.
Former Main Event Champion Chris Moneymaker made it through to Day 2 as well. He bagged 59,000 and is obviously capable of building his stack from this point. WinStar Ambassador Maria Ho looked like she might be on the verge of making a run last night, but eventually busted and didn't bag for Day 2.
The remaining 113 players will restart at 1 p.m. PokerNews will be covering all the action with photos and updates throughout the day.
