Ross Holds With Big Slick

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player jammed his last 23,000 from under the gun, and Ben Ross three-bet to 44,500 from the hijack, chasing out the rest of the field.

Opponent: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Ben Ross: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Ross got a sweat when the {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop gave his opponent a flush draw. The {5-Hearts} turn gave both players a straight draw for a chop, but Ross held after the {6-Clubs} fell on the river to secure the KO.

Belote Doubles

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Pamela Belote was all in for 34,500 from the small blind over an early-position open. The opener called and cards were turned up.

Pamela Belote: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} to give Belote a gutshot straight-flush draw. The turn fell {a-Clubs} and was of no help for her. She was then down to her last card, which came {7-Diamonds} to complete the flush and keep her alive in the tournament via a double.

Kim Takes From Berry

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Will Berry raised to 5,200 from middle position, and was called by the hijack and cutoff, before Alex Kim three-bet to 25,000 in the small blind. Berry called, and the other two players folded.

Action checked down through a {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board, and Kim tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for an unimproved Big Slick. That proved to be good enough as Berry flung his hand to the muck.

Cowboys Kind To Ward

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

A player raised to 5,700 from under the gun and Todd Elwood three-bet to 10,000 from early position. Another player in middle position then cold four-bet all in for 36,900.

Action folded around to Jared Ward, who was in the big blind and announced he was all in as well. Both the under-the-gun player and Elwood reluctantly folded and the remaining two players turned up their hands.

Jared Ward: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Middle Position: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The runout came in Ward's favor, falling {3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{k-Hearts} to secure the elimination and give him a healthy stack nearing the end of Level 12.

Opponent: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Nam Nguyen: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

A {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop was safe for Nguyen, but the {3-Clubs} turn gave his opponent flush outs, as well as chop outs. The {5-Spades} river was safe for Nguyen, and he earned the KO.

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Katherine Offutt raised to 7,000 from the hijack, and Mstr Lynch made the call in the small blind.

Lynch checked the {2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop to Offutt, who bet 13,000. Lynch called.

On the {5-Spades} turn, Lynch checked again, and Offutt fired in 20,000. Lynch made the call.
