Viet Vo was in middle position and opened to 100,000. Scott Adrian went all in over the top of him from the hijack. Action then folded to James Jewell, who announced he was all in from the big blind. Vo quickly called, resulting in hands being tabled and stacks being determined.
Jewell covered both players, with Vo having 690,000 and Adrian having 540,000. Adrian's stack was counted three times and the remaining 150,000 was left in front of Vo.

Adrian found himself needing to hit an ace for a triple, whereas Jewell could score a double knockout if he hit a nine. However, Vo's kings remained best after the runout came and he saw a massive pile of chips sent his way, bringing him to just under 2 million as Adrian hit the rail in 18th place.
Table 40 has now been broken as the field has condensed to two tables with 17 players remaining. There is no redraw at 18 but updated seating assignments will be posted for the final two tables momentarily nonetheless.
Don Goodman jammed for 660,000 from the hijack, and Quintis Simpson called on the button, leaving himself 80,000 behind.

Goodman spiked a three on the flop, and no queen would come on the turn or river. Simpson's last 80,000 went in the next hand with king-nine against the jacks of Eric Bunch, and Bunch flopped jacks full to send Simpson home.
The final 19 players are off on their last 15-minute break of the night. Play will then occur until whichever comes first between the completion of two more levels or until the final table of nine is reached.
Chuck Barker opened to 125,000 in the cutoff and received a call from Joe Cho, who was on the button. The two went heads up to a flop of and Barker immediately announced a continuation-bet of 175,000. Cho called.
The turn came and Barker checked. Cho announced he was all in, shoving his chips forward. Barker thought for a bit before exclaiming, "Nope!" and sending his cards to the muck.
There was already over 400,000 in the middle on a board of in a pot between Viet Vo, who was in the small blind, and Eluterio Rodriguez who was in the hijack. Vo had checked to Rodriguez, who bet 250,000. After two minutes in the tank, a call was announced.
The dealer collected the chips and burned and turned the river . Both players checked through to showdown.
Rodriguez tabled for top pair, top kicker, and Vo sat there motionless for a few moments before releasing his cards onto the felt in front of the betting line, resulting in the pot being sent Rodriguez' way.
"Gah!" said Katherine Offutt as she found herself behind in an all-in preflop situation with an opportunity to knock out Caibin Ai. The two got their chips in with Ai in the small blind and Offutt in the big blind.
