Alagha Bubbles the Three Table Redraw

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Hesam Alagha jammed for 325,000, and Craig Kinney three-bet shoved for 1.65 million from the cutoff, chasing off the field.

Hesam Alagha: {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Craig Kinney: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Kinney hit top pair on the {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop, and Alagha got no love from the {q-Clubs} turn or {5-Clubs} river to bust.

The final twenty-seven players are redrawing for seats at the final three tables; stay tuned for a full seat draw as well as chip counts from the remaining field.

Copp's Aces Good For a Double

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Keith Copp raised to 75,000 from under the gun, and James Jewell three-bet to 200,000 from the cutoff. Copp four-bet shoved for 700,000, and Jewell called.

Keith Copp: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
James Jewell: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Copp held on a {6-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades} board, and he pumped his fist in celebration, as he nears his son Kramer's chip count after his latest double.

Jewell Gets Some Chips

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Craig Kinney opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and was called by Quintis Simpson on the button. James Jewell squeezed, three-betting from the small blind to 180,000. Both Kinney and Simpson called.

The flop came {9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Jewell fired a continuation-bet of 125,000. Both players folded and he took down the pot.

Mordue Dusts Floyd

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Darrell Floyd limped in from the hijack and James Mordue raised to 150,000 over him from the button. Action folded back to Floyd and he called.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Floyd led out for 200,000. Mordue shoved for about 500,000 more and Floyd called for just less.

Darrell Floyd: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
James Mordue: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Mordue had flopped a set and was ahead of Floyd's top two pair, needing to fade the remaining two aces in the deck to get the knockout. The turn {6-Spades} and river {3-Spades} would do just that, bringing him over a million and getting the knockout along the way.

Champlin Finds a Massive Double Through Offutt

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Spencer Champlin
Spencer Champlin

Eric Bunch raised to 75,000 from early position, and Katherine Offutt called in the hijack. Spencer Champlin three-bet to 260,000 from the cutoff, and only Offutt called.

Offutt checked the {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop to Champlin, who bet 150,000. Offutt instantly called.

Both players checked the {k-Hearts} turn, and Offutt checked the {6-Hearts} river. Champlin jammed for 550,000, and Offutt snap-called. Champlin turned over {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} for kings-full, and Offutt showed her {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} had rivered a worse full house, costing her a huge chunk of her stack.

Sixkiller Put To the Test

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Gary Sixkiller saw action folded to him on the button and limped in, only to be raised by Quintis Simpson to 130,000 out of the small blind. He called and the flop came {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}.

Simpson put out another bet of 125,000 and Sixkiller went into the tank. He took about two minutes, apologizing for taking so long but claiming that the decision was for a large enough percentage of his stack that he was really determining his options for his tournament life.

Eventually, he decided that this time wasn't worth it and let his hand go, resulting in Simpson taking down the pot.

Offutt Fires Three

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Action folded around to Jeremy Liu in the small blind and he completed. Katherine Offutt then checked her option and the two went heads up to a flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Liu checked to Offutt, who bet 30,000. He then called.

The turn was {3-Clubs} and Liu check-called a second barrel of 60,000 from Offutt. The river {10-Clubs} brought a flush on board and Liu checked one last time. Offutt slid forward a stack of orange T5,000 chips to empty the clip with a bet of 100,000. Liu quickly folded and the dealer shipped Offutt the pot.

Kelly Minkin
Kelly Minkin

Eluterio "Teo" Rodriguez raised to 75,000 from the hijack, then called after Kelly Minkin three-bet shoved for 425,000 in the big blind.

Kelly Minkin: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Eluterio Rodriguez: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Minkin winced after the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop gave Rodriguez top pair, and she got no help on the {3-Spades} turn or {6-Diamonds} river to bust.

At the same time, Day 1b chip leader Quan Donot Nguyen was unable to run up the short stack after dinner, and busted as well.

Copp Robs Burchfield of a KO

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kris Burchfield raised to 60,000 from the cutoff, then called a three-bet shove for 380,000 from Keith Copp in the big blind.

Keith Copp: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Kris Burchfield: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

Burchfield added a flush draw to his outs on the {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, but Copp took outs away when the {8-Diamonds} turn gave him a set. Copp filled up on the {5-Clubs} river, prompting a big, "Baby! Yes! Got there!" from Copp.

Queens Take Copp Near Two Million

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Mykel Comroe opened to 80,000 from early position and was three-bet to 225,000 by Kramer Copp, who was on the button. Marquis McCain cold-called from the small blind and Comroe folded, taking postflop action heads up.

Both players checked through the runout {6-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} to take the hand to showdown.

McCain tabled {j-}{j-} and Copp showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, resulting in McCain's hand being mucked and the pot being sent Copp's way.
