Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Emile Carette pushed his last 80,000 chips, two blinds, in the middle with {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and it was called by Anas Tadini on the button and GRJ in the blinds.

The flop fell {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and went check-check. On the turn {8-Spades}, GRJ check-called Tadini's bet for 50,000. The river {k-Clubs} brought no betting action.

Tadini tabled {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a pair of nines and GRJ showed {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the pair under. Carette won the main pot and tripled up to 220,000.

A few minutes later, in a blind versus blind situation, Azapl shoved and Carette made the call with the exact same stack to create the following showdown:

Emile Carette: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Azapl: {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

Carette was in good shape for another double up, but the runout {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} gave trips to his opponent and eliminated the French player in 8th Place.

Anthony Monin got eliminated from the tournament in a few minutes due to an unlucky hand.

On the first hand, Najib Bennis went all-in under the gun with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a stack of 635,000 and Monin, who saw {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} in his hand, snap-reshoved for 705,000 on the button.

The players tabled their cards and the dealer revealed a board {j-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, giving a set of nines to Bennis who doubled up and crippled Monin with less than two blinds left.

On the second hand, Youssef Aananouche raised to 80,000 with {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Monin went all in for his last 70,000. Anas Tadini made the call from the small blind.

The remaining active players checked throughout the board {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and the players turned over their cards. Aananouche won the hand with {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, while Tadini mucked {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Monin was eliminated, holding {10-Spades}{6-Spades}. He received MAD 63,000 for his 7th place.
