The Main Event is the last big one event left at the Wonder8, with 64 players returning among the 211 entries. They are lead by GRJ (Julian Galan) who is our runaway chipleader at the moment, bagging up more than 402,000 chips, close to his nearest rival Alexandre De Zutter with 397,000. The French player, with $316,733 total live earning, will be a serious opponent and has his eyes on his victory in Marocco
There are still some big names still in contention, including Anas Tadini, Thierry Morel, Jerôme Zerbib or Jean-Jacques Zeitoun. Others include Sarah Herzali, Marius Conan or Jaouad Abida.
The prizepool has been announced yesterday and 31 players will be in the money, with a minimum paycheck of MAD 14,000 (€1,290), while the winner will bring back home the trophy and MAD 330,000 (€30,421).
The plan for today is to play until the final 16 are reached, and the tournament kicks off at 1 pm local time. We will come back to blinds of 1,500/3,000 with a 1,500 ante and 45-minute rounds, and you can catch all of the updates right here on PokerNews.

The Wonder8 tournament director just announced the shuffle up and deal. Main Event Day 2 is officially underway with 64 players still in the competition.
The tournament will be played today until the final table is reached, or a maximum of 12 levels. The end of the day is expected to be around midnight.
Oumar Diallo Syele limped under the gun and Willerminho raised it to 11,000 from the cut-off. Sairi Azzelarab called from the big blind and Diallo Syele folded.
The flop brought and went check-check, and the same action happened on the turn .
The river showed a and Willerminho bet 10,500 after a last check from Azzelarab. The latter folded his hand.

In just a few minutes, we lost the two Sarah in the field.
According to Sarah Herzali, she shoved her remaining stack worth 33,000 with after Emile Carette and has been called Olivier Paris and Carette with . The flop came and both remaining players went all-in.
Carette won the massive pot to climb around 570,000 and busted two players in the same hand.
On the other table, Sarah Sacrispeyre also busted and there is only one woman player left in the field.
