On a board reading , Kevin Rivest had about 900,000 behind in the big blind and got his remaining stack in the middle against Maurice Simard on the button.
Rivest tabled for top pair, but ran into Simard's for a set of threes. The turn was the to give Rivest some outs to survive, but the river was the to send him to the rail.
After Aaron Czaja opened to 225,000, Francesco Maltese moved all-in for 1,035,000 and Charles La Boissonniere four-bet jammed over the top forcing Czaja to fold.

La Boissonniere:
Maltese was racing and things appeared to be on his side as a king in the door of a flop. Sadly, for Maltese, there was an eight right behind it. The on the turn gave Maltese some outs but a blank on the river eliminated him in 16th place.
Charles La Boissonniere raised to 430,000 from middle position and action folded to partypoker Team Pro Natalia Breviglieri on the button. She had just 1,380,000 chips left and decided to move them in the middle. La Boissonniere thought for a few seconds and called.
Natalia Breviglieri:

The flop came and Breviglieri extended her lead by pairing her ace while La Boissonniere picked up a straight draw. The turn was the to give La Boissonniere a pair of queens for more outs to improve but the river was the and the Brit doubled through after patiently waiting to pick her spot.
