Poker For a Cause; All-Stars For Starlight Takes Spotlight

Welcome to Day1b of the sixth event at the World Cup of Cards, a special one at Playground Poker Club. Event #6: All-Stars for Starlight is a $160 no-limit hold'em tournament featuring a massive $100,000 guarantee. Over the next two days players will have four chances to qualify for Day 2.

Join NHL Hall of Famer and legend Larry Robinson from August 26th to 28th in the All-Stars for Starlight event. This is Big Event Poker at a price anyone can afford - and you'll do some good for the community while you play. The $25 tournament fee will be given as a charitable contribution to the Starlight Children's Foundation Canada.

Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada is a charitable organization dedicated to bringing laughter, joy and hope back into the lives of children with serious illnesses. With about 4,000 in the middle and a board of {k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Spades}, Francis Rivest-Beaudoin bet 2,500 and his heads-up opponent check-called.

The {9-Clubs} fell on the turn and Rivest-Beaudoin blasted again, this time for 5500. His opponent folded and the dealer pushed the pot his way.
