Ismail's it in, Wins Monster Pot

A three-way all-in pot was built preflop between Alim Ismail, William Blais, and a shorter stack. Blais had both covered but was behind.

Blais: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Ismail: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out did not improve Blais' hand and Ismail's pocket jacks held up, hitting a set on the river to scoop the pot.

Back-To-Back Blais?

William Blais shipped Sunday evenings Event #7: NL Crazy Pineapple Bounty for $4,500 and 16, $50 bounties. That event finished about 12 hours ago.

Blais is seated in Event #8 and just doubled up.

Blais was all-in preflop with {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, put at risk by an opponent's {7-Spades}{6-Spades}. The board ran out {9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and though giving him a scare on the flop, justice prevailed for Blais straightening up on the turn to take down the pot.
