Kevin Gan Eliminated in 18th Place (AU$6,660)

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Kevin Gan
Kevin Gan

Kahle Burns raised from early position and then quickly called the all in of Kevin Gan for around 40,000 in chips.

Burns: {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs}
Gan: {K-Spades} {Q-Clubs}

There wasn't really any sign of help on the {2-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {J-Clubs} flop and the {4-Clubs} turn reduced the outs to the three remaining queens in the deck. The dealer fanned the {10-Hearts} as final community card and Gan was gone in 18th place for AU$6,660.

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Jeff Madsen - 19th Place
Jeff Madsen - 19th Place

Three-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Jeff Madsen has been eliminated. He moved all in from under the gun for 18,500 and Ryan Hong made the call from the big blind. Madsen had the {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, and Hong had the {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} board gave Hong a straight, and he busted Madsen in 19th place.

They are Picking on Turco

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Out of the 19 players remaining, we have seven short stacks and the tension in the air is very easy to feel.

Mace Turco raised to 6,500 and then folded when Brian McAllister moved all in out of the small blind.

Then Turco was involved in a pot with Aaron Lim and bet 6,500 on the river of a {A-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {8-Spades} {J-Hearts} board. Lim raised to 16,000 and Turco tank-folded.

Bernard Beh Eliminated in 20th Place (AU$5,591)

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Bernard Beh
Bernard Beh

Bernard Beh was one of the shortest stacks left and moved all in for 19,000 chips from middle position. The action folded to Piyush Gupta in the small blind and he moved all in over the top, Kahle Burns folded his big blind.

Gupta had {K-Spades} {K-Hearts} and Beh was drawing to two outs with pocket jacks. After the turn of an {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} board, there was no card anymore that could help Beh and he headed to the payout desk to collect AU$5,591 for his efforts.

David Bowen Eliminated in 21st Place (AU$5,591)

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
David Bowen
David Bowen

Aaron Lim min-raised from the button to 6,000 and David Bowen defended his big blind to see the heads-up flop of {9-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {3-Diamonds}. Bowen check-called 7,000 and then check-raised all in for approximately 60,000 when the {7-Spades} appeared on the turn. Lim snap.called and Bowen immediately knew that was bad news.

Lim: {8-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}
Bowen: {7-Clubs} {9-Clubs}

It was the perfect setup card that saw the two players clash and Bowen could not improve anymore to a full house with the {4-Spades} as final community card.
