Quads for Lindeblad

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The four-way flop of {10-Hearts} {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} flop got checked through and on the {5-Clubs} turn there was a bet of 4,600 and the call from Kahle Burns. Stephen Lindeblad moved all in for 55,000 and Shisheng Chen called all in for less from one seat over. Both other opponents folded their cards. Showdown:

Lindeblad: {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}
Cheng: {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}

You could hear a loud "ohhhhhh" from the rail when the {J-Spades} on the river gave Lindeblad quads and sent Cheng to the rail. Almost at the same time, Peter Longmore was also eliminated through unknown action on another table.

Chia Spikes a Double Through Brabin

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Joachim Chia was all in with the {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for 9,700. He was called and dominated by Luke Brain with the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, but a board of {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} gave Chia a double up with the heart flush.

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Rory Young
Rory Young

Bruno Portaro opened the action with a raise to 3,400 and two seats over, Rory Young moved all in for 22,000. Both players had almost identical stacks and Portaro decided to call with {K-} {10-}. Young was ahead preflop with pocket eights but the {2-} {5-} {K-} {Q-} {Q-} board delivered one of the two over cards.

Lindeblad Gives to Gleeson

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Just a few minutes ago we saw Stephen Lindeblad putting pressure on the opponent one seat over by moving all in on the river of a {3-Spades} {7-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {8-Hearts} board to enforce a fold. The very same thing wouldn't happen with Thomas Gleeson, as he found {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades} in the small blind.

Again Lindeblad put the ultimate pressure on and then nodded when he saw the cards of his opponente while turning over his {J-Diamonds} {J-Spades}. Not even the hope for a four card flush was there and the board ran out {8-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}.

Beh Doubles Through Vlahos

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Bernard Beh was all in on the {J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades} board for 13,100. Chris Vlahos made the call with the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}, but that was behind Beh's {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. The river was the {2-Hearts}, and Beh doubled up.

One for Guerin

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

From under the gun, Didier Guerin raised to 3,500. After there was a call from a player in middle position, Piyush Gupta reraised to 11,400 out of the small blind. Play got back to Guerin, and he made it 24,500 to go. The next player folded, and then Gupta also gave it up, and Guerin won the pot.

Danzer Picks Up a Double

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After Jamie Pickering made it 4,200 to go from the under-the-gun position, George Danzer moved all in for around 11,000 from the cutoff seat. Action folded back to Pickering, and he called with {6-}{5-}. Danzer had pocket sevens and they held to move him back to 24,000 in chips.
