Zheng Wins His First Hand

Level 2

No-Limit Hold'em

After busting from Event #7: AU$2,200 Six-Max No-Limit Hold'em in 15th place for AU$5,779, Jackson Zheng immediately jumped into our tournament.

In his first hand, he raised to 300 under the gun and was met by a three-bet to 800 from Jan Suchanek in the cutoff. The button and blinds all folded, and Zheng called to see the {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop. Zheng proceeded to check-call a bet of 1,100 and then both players checked the {A-Diamonds} turn. When the {2-Clubs} completed the board on the river, Zheng led out for 1,700 and Suchanek wasted little time in folding his cards.
