Danzer vs. Negreanu vs. Gross

Level 6

No-Limit Hold'em

Daniel Negreanu opened for 400 under the gun and received a call from Jeff Gross in the cutoff. George Danzer came along from the big blind and three players saw a flop of {3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}. Danzer checked, Negreanu continued for 600, and both his opponents called.

Two checks on the {4-Hearts} turn saw Gross bet 1,200, and once again the other two players called. When the {5-Diamonds} turn completed the board on the river, it was Danzer's turn to bet and he led out for 3,300. It did the trick as both Negreanu and Gross released their hands.

Meanwhile, Jackson Zheng was eliminated from the tournament.

Gill Knocks Out Israeashvili

Level 6

Limit Hold'em
Roland Israelashvili had been short-stacked for quite some time and just got eliminated by the ever-so-talkative Oliver Gill. Gill had defended his small blind against the raise from under the gun and the remaining stack then went in after the {9-Spades} {K-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} turn. Israelashvili held {8-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} but was drawing to two outs only against Gill's {9-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}.

The {Q-Hearts} on the river was a brick and that was it for Israelashvili. "That was the most boring hand I have played lately," said Gill before grabbing the chips.

Hortin Falls to Negreanu

Level 6

No-Limit Hold'em

Daniel Negreanu opened with a raise and Jeff Gross flatted from the small blind. Dylan Hortin then three-bet jammed for 3,500, Negreanu called, and Gross got out of the way. Hortin was ahead with {4-}{4-} against Negreanu's {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, but an ace on the rivered ruined Hortin.

Gill vs. Hassan

Level 6

Pot-Limit Omaha

With around 4,500 in the pot and a board reading {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}, Oliver Gill bet 2,575 from the hijack and Hassan Hanksson paused for a few moments before popping it to 6,000. Gill didn't take long to drop in a call, and Hanksson simply said, "You win."

He then showed the {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for just two pair. Gill rolled over the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades}{a-Spades} for a flush.

"I'd have folded the river to a lot of people," the always-talkative Gill explained, "but I've played with Hassan before."
