Nguyen Busts Kamutzki

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Heinz Kamutzki raised all in from the hijack seat for 37,000, and Minh Nguyen reraised all in for 70,000 from the cutoff seat. Everyone folded, and it was Kamutzki's {A-Spades}{8-Hearts} in heaps of trouble against Nguyen's {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, and Kamutzki was eliminated.

Kassela Snap Calls

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

With the board showing {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} Kyle Montgomery led out for 27,000 and was called by Frank Kassela in the hijack before the {8-Hearts} completed the board.

Montgomery reached for his chips and slid out 50,000 and was snap called. He reluctantly tabled his {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} for queen-high and lost the hand when Kassela showed his {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a pair and the winning hand.

Ferraro Doubles

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Jason Giuliano defended his big blind against a raise from Francesco Ferraro and then had his opponent all in for 35,500 on the {J-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {4-Hearts} flop. Giuliano was slightly ahead with {4-Clubs} {5-Hearts} but Ferrario instantly completed his flush on the {8-Hearts} turn holding {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts}. He jumped up and cheered "not even a sweat" after his double up was guaranteed. The {8-Spades} on the river was just a formality.

Burns Doubles Through Marcus

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

The action folded round to Kahle Burns in the small blind and he shoved all in for 18,500. Van Marcus called in the big blind and the cards were tabled.

Burns: {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Marcus: {Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The {8-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop gave Marcus the lead, but the {10-Diamonds} on the turn put it back in Burns' favour. The river landed the {4-Hearts} and Burns doubled to 41,000 as Marcus was crippled with down to nine big blinds.

Zhou Shoves

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Joachim Chia opened under the gun to 6,500 and Stevan Chew made the call next to act before Ivan Zhou three-bet to 25,000 from the small blind.

Both Chia and Chew called as the flop fell {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Zhou instantly moved all in for roughly 430,000.

Chia went deep into the tank for several minutes before Zhou added, "I'm ahead all the way ... top set and the nut flush draw!"

After a little longer, Chia folded, as did Chew before Zhou flashed his {J-Spades}.

Chia Silences Zhou

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ivan Zhou raised to 6,000 and Joachim Chia peeled, so did the player in the big blind. On the {Q-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {5-Spades} flop, Zhou continued for 15,000 and only Chia called before the {8-Clubs} fell on the turn. Zhou moved all in with the far superior stack and Chia called with {7-Hearts} {6-Clubs} for the straight.

Zhou only had {5-Spades} {4-Diamonds} for bottom two pair and couldn't improve anymore on the {9-Spades} river. Chia was all in for 164,500 chips and now has Zhou covered in stack.
