Hojvan Goes for Value with Queens
Level 9
: 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Hayley Hanna raised to 3,000 from early position and faced a three-bet to 5,000 from Mario Hojvan in the small blind. The player in the big blind made the call as did Hanna before seeing the flop come 8♣6♦K♣.
Hojvan opted to lead out with a bet of 5,000. The big blind released his cards but Hanna made the call pretty quickly and watched as the turn brought the 9♠.
Action checked through to the K♥ river card.
Hojvan reached into his stack again and came out with a bet of 10,000 which Hanna called almost immediately and turned over the 10♥10♣ only to see Hojvan roll over the Q♠Q♣, prompting the dealer to send the pot in his direction.
