Vuzem Claims Another Victim
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Heads-up to the K♦J♠10♠3♠9♦ river with around 46,000 in the middle, Eran Soffer had 15,000 behind. He faced the bet of 30,000 by big stack Marko Vuzem and went deep into the tank, desperately trying to get any information out of his opponent.
The tank went so long that the clock was called on Soffer, who called it off in the very last second of his 30-second countdown.
Vuzem tabled K♣Q♦ for the straight and Soffer mucked the J♦J♥ before heading out of the tournament area.
