Paniak Cuts Down Deeb

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Shaun Deeb raised to 800 from under the gun and found one caller in Maksim Paniak in the big blind before seeing the flop come 854.

Both players opted to check through, bringing out the 10 on the turn.

Paniak chose to lead out and did so with a bet of 1,500. Deeb made the call and watched as the 5 river completed the board.

Paniak reached for chips and led out once more, this time for 3,000. Deeb wasn't done with the hand yet, though, as he reached into his own stack and came back out with a raise to 15,200. Paniak quickly called and turned over the 76 for the flopped straight.

Deeb quickly exposed and then folded what looked to be the A5 before moving onto the next hand.

Norland Gets Value from Zamani

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Martin Zamani raised to 1,000 from under the gun only to face a three-bet to 4,000 from Morten Norland in late position. Zamani made the call and the dealer spread the 423 flop.

Zamani checked over to Norland who continued with a bet of 2,500. Zamani wasn't yet done with the hand, though, as he quickly went into his stack and came back out with a check-raise totaling 7,000. Norland wasted little time in making the call to see the A hit the turn.

Action checked through to the 4 river.

Zamani led out by tossing a single 500 denomination chip into the pot and said, "That's the bet" with a laugh, but when Norland came back over the top with a raise to 12,000, the situation wasn't as funny anymore.

Zamani put in the call only to quickly muck when Norland turned over the AK.

Hutter Shoves on Stumpf

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Barry Hutter raised to 1,200 from the cutoff, Matthew Stumpf three-bet to 4,000 on the button, and Hutter called.

The dealer fanned out the J92 flop, Hutter checked, and Stumpf bet 3,500. Hutter check-raised to 9,000 and Stumpf called.

The 9 landed on the turn and Hutter bet 8,000. Stumpf called.

The 10 completed the board and Hutter moved forward a stack of yellow T-5,000 chips to cover his opponent's stack of about 32,000, prompting Stumpf to fold.

Ali Calls it Off on the River

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action folded around to Rami Hammoud who raised to 1,400 from the cutoff. Yousri Ali was in the small blind and counted out a three-bet worth 6,500. Hammoud made the call and both players headed to a K97 flop.

Action checked through to bring out the 6 turn card, on which action checked through once more.

Hammoud paused briefly and eyed down Ali's stack before maving all-in to put Ali to a decision with the smaller stack. Ali did have a brief moment of thought but was pretty quick to call and turn over the KK, easily beating the AQ held by Hammoud and good for a full double.
