Dzivielevski Puts Former WSOP Main Event Champ to the Test
Level 6
: 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
There was 26,600 in the pot and a flop of A♣Q♥6♦ when Yuri Dzivielevski checked from the small blind and 2021 WSOP Main Event champ Koray Aldemir did the same from the big.
After the dealer burned and turned the 5♣, Dzivielevski bet 13,500 and Aldemir paused for a few beats before calling.
On the 4♣ river, Dzivielevski set out 40,000, and Aldemir, who had 31,400 behind, had to decide what to do.
Eventually, he chose to preserve his stack by releasing his hand.
