Joseph Cheong

Joseph Cheong: QQ All in
Harvey Jackson: 98

Cheong was in great shape with top set and avoided the suck out as the board completed with the A turn, and the 3 river.

Seiver Goes With His Read But Pays the Price

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

With around 25,000 in the pot and a board reading J794, Patrik Demus bet 12,500 from the big blind and seven-time WSOP bracelet winner Scott Seiver called from early position.

When the 9 completed the board on the river, Demus paused for a few beats before moving all in and Seiver, who had approximately 25,000 behind, didn't take long to call.

Demus tabled the 108 for a flopped straight, and Seiver mucked his hand. However, since it was an all-in-and-call situation the dealer was obligated to show his hand, which was A5.

Seiver seemingly had a read that his ace-high might be the best hand, but it wasn't as Demus had the goods and eliminated the future Poker Hall of Famer.

Bonucchi-Bilow Gets the Maximum with a Set

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Denys Chufarin
Denys Chufarin

Denys Chufarin opened in early position and Eric Bonucchi-Bilow called in the cutoff.

The dealer fanned a flop of J64, and Chufarin check-raised a bet of 2,000 to 10,000. Bonucchi-Bilow was unfazed, putting in a three-bet to 25,000.

"You were supposed to fold," Chufarin said while thinking. After a couple of seconds, he made the call.

The 7 fell on the turn and Chufarin checked it over to Bonucchi-Bilow who slid the majority of his chips across the line for a bet of 38,000.

"Okay, let's go," Chufarin excitedly said as he slid a raise across the line. Bonucchi-Bilow had 43,000 total and snap-called.

"Do you have flush?" Asked Chufarin after making the call.

"No," He replied.

Eric Bonucchi-Bilow: 44 All in
Denys Chufarin: AJ

Bonucchi-Bilow didn't have a flush but it was just as bad as Chufarin was drawing dead. The board completed with the 10 on the river.

Chufarin was dumbfounded as he continued, "I would never reraise with that, I'm so curious."

Savevski Puts Lewis to Tough Decision

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With a flop of Q104 on the table and about 13,000 in the middle, Romain Lewis had 10,500 committed and Ilija Savevski was faced with a decision. After a few moments, he put in a raise to 22,000 and Lewis called.

The 7 turn was checked through to see the 4 on the river. Lewis checked once more and Savevski fired 36,000. Lewis went into the tank for about 40 seconds before deciding to let it go.

Hellmuth Makes Short Appearance in $1,000,000 Super Saver

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth had only been at the table for about an orbit when Matthew Wantman opened 5,000 in the cutoff and he made the call from the small blind.

Both players checked to the A43QJ river, where Hellmuth splashed a bet of 3,500 across the line. Wantman took a few seconds and made the call to hear the words, "You're good," as Hellmuth tabled 76. Wantman showed 1010 to drag the pot.

The following hand, Romain Lewis opened 5,000 in middle position and Phil Hellmuth clicked it to 10,000, leaving just 500 behind. The action folded back around to Lewis who put in the extra raise and Hellmuth called off for his 10,500 total.

Phil Hellmuth: 66 All in
Romain Lewis: Q9

The J104 flop gave Lewis some extra outs as he flopped an open-ended straight draw. The 3 turn looked promising for Hellmuth, but the 9 river gave Lewis a pair of nines to send Hellmuth packing.
