Miguel Lopes opened the cutoff to 24,000 before Joni Jouhkimainen three-bet the button to 75,000, and Faria Lopes called.

On the 7♠6♠3♠ flop, Faria Lopes check-called a 20,000 bet from Jouhkimainen.

The turn brought the A♣. Faria Lopes check-called another bet from Jouhkimainen, this time for 72,000.

The 10♠ turn quickly checked through.

THe K♠9♥8♥ flop was already on the felt and Narcis-Gabriel Nedelcu checked from middle position to Alain Stia in the cutoff who tossed a bet of 30,000 into the pot of 80,000. Nedelcu made the call.

The A♣ turn was checked through to see the 2♥ on the river and Nedelcu checked once more. Stia fired 110,000 into the middle, putting Nedelcu into the tank for about a minute before he decided to let it go.

Heads-up to a completed board of K♦4♥3♠K♣9♦, Santhosh Suvarna checked from the small blind to Roland Rokita in the cutoff with around 300,000 in the middle already.

Roland Rokita slid forward a bet of 405,000 with just 1,000 behind which sent Suvarna deep into the tank. After around two minutes, Suvarna placed a stack of chips in the middle to call. Rokita quickly turned over K♠Q♥ for trip kings as Suvarna quickly mucked and Rokita picked up one of the largest pots of the day.

Derek Gibb opened 25,000 in early position and Tsugunari Toma called in the cutoff before Jonathan Little defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of A♥A♣3♦, and both Little and Gibb checked to Toma who fired 26,000 across the line. Little quickly folded and Gibb stuck around with a call.

The 8♠ turn was checked through to see the 8♥ river, and Gibb checked for a final time. Toma flung 75,000 into the center and Gibb snap-called. Toma rolled 8♣7♣ for eights full of aces and Gibb mucked his hand.

Jovan Kenjic was heads-up with Michael Soyza in the blinds and around 100,000 in the middle. The board read Q♣9♣5♣A♦ and Kenjic check-called a bet of 45,000 from Soyza.

The river was the J♠ and Kenjic checked once more. Soyza threw in a bet of 400,000, enough to put Kenjic to the test for his remaining 114,000 chips. Kenjic thought for over a minute before making the call with 9♠2♠ for a pair of nines. However, Soyza tabled Q♥5♥ for two pair to eliminate Kenjic.

Mercier Goes Deep Into the Tank

Ihar Soika and Jason Mercier were heads-up in a three-bet pot, having around 190,000 in the pot. The flop came 8♣6♥2♦ and Mercier led out with a bet of 72,000 from the big blind, followed by a call from Soika on the button.

The turn was the K♦ and both players checked to the A♦ on the river. Mercier checked again and Soika put together a bet of 130,000. Mercier went into the tank for a good five minutes before finally making the call. Soika tabled 7♥5♥ for a missed straight draw while Mercier showed 10♠10♣ for the only pair to win the pot.

Glaser Spikes the River to Bust Jaka

Benny Glaser opened from the cutoff and Faraz Jaka defended his big blind to create a pot of around 65,000.

The 10♥9♦5♠ flop checked through to the 2♣ which saw Jaka lead with a bet. Glaser then raised enough to put Jaka all-in and he quickly called off for 247,000.

Jaka was ahead with top pair but Glaser had an open-ender and one over. The dealer peeled the J♣ on the river to give Glaser top pair which was enough to send Jaka to the rail as Glaser padded his stack after a sixth place finish in the $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha earlier today.
