Just a couple hands after sitting down with a fresh stack, Jamie Gold moved all in from middle position and was called by Juan Pardo on the button who had the covering stack.

Pardo pulled ahead on the 6♣8♥K♠ flop, pairing his king. The 8♣ turn and A♦ river offered no help to Gold, and the 2006 WSOP Main Event winner was sent to the rail.

Lococo Breathes a Sigh of Relief

Dong Chen and Alejandro Lococo got involved in one of the largest pots of the tournament thus far with roughly 800,000 in the middle and the board reading K♠K♥4♣3♠.

Chen led out with a bet of 525,000 in the small blind on the turn. Lococo called from the hijack and the 7♣ completed the board. Chen counted out another bet of 1,125,000 and Lococo moved all in for 2,735,000.

Chen asked for a count and burned through all of his time banks before the clock eventually ran out. Chen flashed the K♦ before his cards went into the muck. Lococo responded by showing A♠8♠ for a missed flush draw and raked in a monster pot.

Lee Knocks Out Covington

UFC star Colby Covington raised from under the gun to 80,000, and was called by Joezer Tadger in the cutoff, and Waikiat Lee in the big blind.

After the flop came 10♦5♣2♥ Lee checked to Covington who bet out 150,000. Tadger folded, before Lee raised to put Covington all in for his remaining 350,000, which Covington called to put himself at risk.

Waikiat Lee: Q♦10♥

Lee out flopped the ace-king of Covington, and once the board ran out 7♦7♣ Covington could not improve past the pair of tens from Lee, giving him the pot and knocking out Covington.

Schulman Eliminates Song

Nick Schulman raised to 60,000 on the button, Sriharsha Doddapaneni flatted in the small blind, and Stephen Song defended in the big blind.

The flop came 2♥5♥3♥ and it checked around to Schulman, who bet 30,000. Doddapaneni folded and Song moved all in for 410,000, putting himself at risk. Schulman snap called.

Keating Bids Farewell for the Final Time

Matthias Lipp raised to 90,000 in middle position and Alan Keating three-bet to 200,000 on his left. The action folded back to Lipp who slid out a stack of chips and Keating called off his last 200,000 chips.

The flop fell J♦9♦4♠ to give Keating a straight flush draw despite Lipp flopping top pair. The 5♣ on the turn bricked out and the A♣ on the river only improved Lipp to two pair. Keating was eliminated and wished his table good luck before leaving the room for the final time in this Super Main Event.

Mercier Hits the Rail

Action folded to the small blind Eric Yanovsky who raised to put the big blind Jason Mercier all-in for his stack of 365,000, which he quickly called.

Eric Yanovsky: A♥2♥

It was a fair fight but Yanovsky was ahead with his ace-high. The board ran out A♠7♠8♦3♥8♣ and Mercier's flopped flush draw bricked out, giving Yanovsky the pot with his pair of aces and knocking out Mercier.

Mercier left the table and said "0 for 12" and wished the table good luck.

That means they will be playing down to just 207 players today and Day 3 will commence with everyone already in the money. At the end of the last level, Alex Kulev raised to 80,000 in middle position and was called by Alex Keating on his left and Miguel Lopes in the big blind. The flop came 10♣5♠4♠ and Kulev continued with a bet of 100,000 which both players called.

The turn was the 9♠ and the action checked to Keating who bet 325,000. Lopes sent his cards to the muck and Kulev eventually followed suit. Keating allowed Kulev to pick a card and he ripped over the 6♥.

On a board reading A♠A♦10♦9♣, Jeffrey Cormier and Sirzat Hissou were heads-up in a pot of around 1,000,000 chips. Cormier led out with a bet of 400,000 and Hissou double-fisted two stacks of chips into the middle, which was met with a snap-call from Cormier for his stack of 1,160,000.

Cormier flopped a full house but Hissou turned a bigger one, leaving Cormier drawing to just a single out. The river was the 6♥ and Cormier was left shaking his head while Hissou has now taken over the chip lead.

Moneymaker Walks Into Nasreddine Trap

Chris Moneymaker raised to 105,000 from under the gun, and Rania Nasreddine made the call in early position. It then folded to Jean-Noel Thorel who three-bet to 300,000 in the hijack with 9♣8♣. Moneymaker made the call, and Nasreddine four-bet all in for 945,000. Thorel folded, and Moneymaker made the call to put Nasreddine at risk.

Nasreddine set the trap perfectly, and put herself in a great spot to more than double up. Once the board ran out 5♠2♠Q♥10♠9♥ she did just that, as her pocket kings were still best, taking the pot and getting more than a double up.
