Kenney Having Fun
All-time money list leader Bryn Kenney was looking to bust Hendrik Joosten, who was all-in for just a handful of big blinds.
Hendrik Joosten: A♦A♦
Bryn Kenney: K♦Q♦
Kenney, who was a Day 2a entrant, was reduced to around 205,000 after the aces held on the 2♣9♣2♦4♥6♦ runout. Kenney didn't mind and was all smiles as Joosten collected the pot.
On the next deal, Michael Dwyer raised to 60,000 from the button, and Kenney called from the big blind. He check-folded to a bet of 50,000 on the A♦Q♣4♠ flop.
"I liked the four, but didn't like the other cards," Kenney laughed. "Did you have a pair?"
Dwyer said no, which sent Kenney into a bigger fit of laughter.
On the next deal, it folded to Kenney, who put in his last 115,000 from the small blind. Jans Arends could only smirk in the big blind after peeking at his cards.
"It's so bad! It's considering fold bad!" exclaimed Kenney, with Arends shaking his head as he called.
Kenney had J♠4♥, and was delighted to see Arends flip over 9♥4♣.
Kenney's jack-high was good for the pot, which the table also seemed to enjoy.
