Klapstein Flops a Boat
Level 5
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Matthew Klapstein raised from early position and called when Rodrigo Seiji made it 65,000 from the next seat over.
Klapstein called bets of 37,000 and 175,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read 3♣3♠2♠8♠J♥. Klapstein snap-called for his last 353,000 after Seiji jammed for 387,000.
Klapstein had 2♣2♥ for a flopped boat, leaving Seiji on fumes, who tabled A♦J♣.
Two hands later, Seiji put in his last 34,000 from under the gun and was looked up by Yoon Choi, who called from the cutoff.
Rodrigo Seiji: K♥6♣
Yoon Choi: A♥10♦
Seiji was sent to the reentry desk after failing to connect on the 9♠7♠2♦8♣7♦ runout.
