Good Check Back from Keating

Level 9 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

PokerNews podcast co-host Ben Ludlow opened to 40,000 from middle position. Alan Keating and Tom Fuchs called from the cutoff and big blind.

Ludlow continued for 45,000 on the A94 flop, and only Keating called. Ludlow sized up to 125,000 on the K turn, and Keating called once more.

The 8 river checked through to showdown, where Ludlow tabled A9 for aces and nines. Keating rolled over AJ for a pair of aces.

"Did I miss a bet?" asked Ludlow, who took in the pot. "Getting a feel for this poker tournament thing," said Keating, who appeared pleased with his check back.
