Carlston Just Calls With the Nuts
Level 19
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
In a heads-up pot on a board of 6♥10♦J♠J♦, Kyle Carlston bet from the big blind and Taran Parmar raised to 700,000 from middle position. Carlston called.
Carlston checked on the 10♣ river and Parmar bet 500,000.
"I'm too curious what you have," Carlston said before calling and tabling J♣10♠ for jacks full of tens, which was the nuts since he blocked both quad possibilities.
But he'd be chopping the pot as Parmar turned over Q♥J♥ for the same full house.
"I guess I had you preflop," said Parmar.
