Mercier Takes a Bite out of Binder
Level 34
: Blinds 2,000,000/4,000,000, 4,000,000 ante
Bernhard Binder opened for 8,000,000 from the cutoff and Natasha Mercier, in the big blind, called.
On the flop of 3♣J♠K♦, Mercier checked, Binder fired 5,500,000, and Mercier called. That brought the K♠ on the turn, pairing the board. Mercier again checked. Binder took a moment, then bet 16,500,000. Mercier also took a moment, then again called.
On the A♥ river, Mercier checked a final time. Binder bet 85,000,000, covering her remaining stack of 42,000,000 and she snap-called all in.
Binder had trip kings with K♣5♣, but was crushed by Mercier's K♥J♦ for kings-full. She collected the double, taking a chunk out of Binder's stack.
