Action folded to Aleksejs Ponakovs in the cutoff, and he raised to 8,000 before Jason Mercier three-bet to 31,000 on the button. It folded back to Ponakovs, who made the call.

Both players checked the QJQ flop, to bring the 3 on the turn. Ponakovs again checked, and Mercier fired out a bet of 43,000. Ponakovs quickly mucked, giving the pot to Mercier.

Joe Serock opened to 9,000 from under the gun, and Damir Zhugralin called in early position. Jamil Wakil came along in the small blind, and the QK6 flop was fanned out.

All three players declined to bet, with the action repeating on the J turn. As his 30-second clock was winding down on the 8 river, Wakil tossed out a 25,000 chip.

Zhugralin answered by sliding forward four of the pink 25,000 chips, producing an instant fold from Wakil.
