Winner's Reaction
For Soverel, it was his first time playing Triton events and in only his second event he's bagged his very first title to go with the bracelet.
"I came here two years ago, but the weather was terrible," he said following his victory. "And now Triton is here, and the tournaments are run really well. It's been a good experience so far."
Heading into the final day, if Nemeth were to work his way back into the contest, it could have been a late one. But Soverel shut the door and held onto the chip lead to secure the win.
"It was a pretty weird final table," admitted Soverel. "Normally someone gets the chip lead and runs everyone over, but here it was more back-and-forth the whole time with everyone.
"I love to play and I'm happy I came down here now!"
