Einhorn Takes Down Two Premiums to Triple Up

Level 12 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened the action from the hijack with a raise to 18,000, and when it folded to David Einhorn in the small blind, he three-bet shoved his stack of 177,000. Aleksejs Ponakovs in the big blind then four-bet jammed for 730,000, and Dvoress made the call for his stack of 404,000, setting up a three-way all-in with Einhorn and Dvoress at risk.

David Einhorn: 77 All in
Daniel Dvoress: QQ All in
Aleksejs Ponakovs: AK

Einhorn was in a world of hurt, while Dvoress and Ponakovs were flipping. However, after the J79 flop, it was Einhorn who jumped in front with a set of sevens.

Nothing changed after the 5 on the turn or the 8 on the river, as Einhorn took down two premiums and tripled up, while Dvoress profited slightly by taking the side pot from Ponakovs.
