After the 9♣ on the river, Phua checked once more, and Simon sized up to 52,000. Phua gave it some thought before putting in a chip to make the call. Simon tabled A♦9♦ for two pair, as Phua shook his head and flashed the A♣ as he tossed his cards in the muck.
