Tavares Makes Trips on the River
Level 13
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Gabriel Tavares opened the action on the button with a raise to 30,000 and was called by the big blind Corey Kempson.
After the 4♦10♣J♦ flop, Kempson check-called a bet of 55,000 from Tavares.
Both players checked after the 2♥ on the turn, to see the 10♥ on the river. Kempson then bet out 55,000, and Tavares raised to 325,000. Kempson made the call, but saw the bad news as Tavares made trips to take the pot with K♠10♠.
